Congratulations Teressa Tyus, WOO's 41st GED graduate!August 12, 2004 Congratulations to Teressa Tyus! It took more than three years, delicately juggling motherhood, childcare, employment, and studies for Teressa Tyus to proudly become WOO's 41st GED graduate. Teressa is the proud mother of Michelle and Daniel, and often brought both children with her to class. Her kids created artwork while Mom studied. The juggling alone (none of which is measured on the exam) should have earned her a diploma years ago. Teressa is now taking up studies in our computer program and hopes to open her own daycare service in the coming years. "I hope to find people to trust me with their kids as well as their money. I want them to believe in me that I will treat their kids well, keep them safe, and teach them. I really enjoy working with kids." |
